Jörg
Grünsfelder - Producer / Composer/ Sound-Designer for Bryan
Adams, Melissa Etheridge, Peter Maffay, Gipsy Kings, Klaus Lage
Band, Dieter Thomas Kuhn, Barbara Thompson, ZDF, Vox, Sony, Mercedes
Benz, Opel, and many more.
"Everything
started with classical piano lessons and the graduation of music
studies. Music has always been something in my life, that attracted
me magically, so I decided to become creative in this area. With
"Indicate" I published club and Houseversions of "The
latest idea", that reached place 4 in the European Dancecharts
in 1989. 1994 I studied at the SAE in London, New York and Frankfurt.
Making use of the newly won experiences I extended my field of activity
as composer and a sound designer in 1995 with Opus 80, where I produced
Filmmusiken, Commercials and Jingles. In 1997 we started the production
company "Opus Media". Our biggest hit was "The Rhapsody",
for which I mixed the complete album and was responsible for the
Soundprogramming/Sound-Design. "The Rapsody" was No. 1
in Germany, France and Finnland and sold more than 1.6 million times.
"As
a commited Korg-Fan, besides my TRINITY's and TRITON's I now use
the new KARMA since a while and am especially taken with the excellent
features of the KARMA-functions.
As
a producer I'm working with a Pro Tools 5.1 SR environment and creativity
is much in demand in my daily work.
The
excellent sound and the inspiration that come from the new KARMA,
set new standards with my music productions.
Especially
the manifold possibilities of direct intervention into the acustic
real-time events are so innovative that I wouldn't want to miss
this instrument."
